ShayCore is committed to providing the most professional services for their clients and has established a comprehensive employee training and certification program to ensure that all of their employees are equipped to handle any job.

The training process begins with an intensive orientation that not only covers general safety protocols, but also covers specific safety protocols for the type of work ShayCore personnel are assigned to do. This includes knowledge of what tools, equipment, materials, and safety devices are necessary, as well as how to safely use and maintain them. All personnel also receive a general overview of the specific construction industry, which serves to prepare them for the job at hand.

After successful completion of the orientation, ShayCore personnel are trained in specific job-related skills such as reading and understanding blueprints, proper rigging and lifting, safe and effective use of tools, and how to calculate and apply loads. Training may also be provided in specialized areas such as first aid, hazardous materials identification and handling, confined space entry and rescue, and fall protection.

Once personnel have completed their initial training, they must remain current on all safety regulations and industry codes. Personnel must also complete regular training and certification on specific skills and/or tasks as required. All personnel must maintain their certifications and renewal is managed by an in-house training coordinator in order to ensure that all personnel have the proper training and safety knowledge to perform their job.
